Meet the Founder
My name is Seth Terramane
Seth Terramane, the visionary behind Terra Firma Investments, brings a rich and diverse background to the world of real estate. Before he ventured into the property market, Seth was deeply immersed in creative writing, trained in poetry, and educated in American literature. His early career path seemed set towards academia or medicine, as he also worked as a clinical researcher with aspirations for medical school. However, Seth’s journey took a unique turn.
Driven by a passion for the land and a desire to make a tangible impact, Seth made the bold decision to leave behind his academic and medical pursuits in favor of organic farming. He and his family still operate an organic vegetable farm in Vermont. His medical mentor, initially surprised by this shift, wisely observed, “I guess you’ll be making people healthy from a different point of view.” These words resonated with Seth, and he carried them into every aspect of his work.
For Seth, life has always been about helping people, caring for the land, and nurturing the creatures around us. This philosophy guided him as he entered the real estate world in 2019, purchasing his first small multifamily property just before the COVID-19 pandemic. Through the challenges of the pandemic, Seth honed his skills, successfully managing and eventually selling the property.
In 2023, Seth expanded his real estate expertise by joining Pace Morby’s Subto group, where he excelled in finding, negotiating, and structuring deals as part of his wholesaling business. Later that year, he pivoted to a buy-and-hold investment strategy and capital raising, leading him to start two educational groups focused on private lending and underwriting. These groups were designed to empower other investors, reflecting Seth’s lifelong commitment to helping others succeed.
Today, Seth leads TFI’s operations country-wide, where he has assembled and partnered with a talented team of project managers, designers, lenders, and general contractors. Under his leadership, TFI continues to thrive, building lasting relationships and delivering exceptional results in the real estate market.
